Truth

It's so frustruating
When you know someone is lying
You can't pry the truth from them
They've made up their mind

It becomes their truth
No matter what proof you may have
They're not worth your time
You can't make their path

If

It's just another day
Though I want it to be different
There is only so much I can do or say
To change my current predicament

If tommorrow I were to say
This isn't my life anymore
I"m making things happen now
Unlike where I wasn't before

Would the outcome be to my liking
Or would I feel the spite
I will never know if I dont take
This new path that now seems right

To Start Anew

So many weights holding me down
My next move faltered
I'm not on the ground
The air I take in
Escapes no sound
